We’re excited to welcome two new team members to the Edge team.
Mike Wiehahn is joining us as a Project Manager.
Mike brings experience across marketing, web development, software development, business improvement, and project management. After starting his career in marketing, he moved into web development and later became a systems manager focused on improving business processes. He went on to establish and run his own digital agency, leading teams that delivered web design, marketing, and software development solutions. As a software developer himself, Mike has a strong connection to the IT industry and a passion for solving complex problems.
Mike was attracted to Edge by the depth of expertise across the team and the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled people. He was also impressed by Kerry's passion for the business and its people.
In his role as Project Manager, Mike enjoys navigating complex requirements, optimising processes, and finding practical solutions that help projects move forward successfully.
Having moved to Christchurch last year, Mike has quickly immersed himself in the local community. Outside of work, he enjoys playing disc golf, whisky brewing, spending time with friends, and usually has a DIY or programming project on the go.
David Ferkatovich joins us as our Sales Manager.
With more than 40 years in the IT industry, Dave brings extensive experience across sales leadership, account management, business development, and consulting. His career has included roles at organisations such as ComputerLand, Telecom, and CodeBlue, where he helped businesses grow through strong customer relationships and effective sales strategies.
Dave was attracted to Edge by the opportunity to work alongside Kerry again and the strong culture that has been built across the business. At Edge, he will focus on bringing new qualified businesses to Edge, strengthening sales processes, and supporting the company's future growth.
Outside of work, Dave is a self-described "active relaxer" who enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as gardening, golf, tennis, and property development. With an academic background in psychology and training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), he has always been passionate about understanding people and building strong relationships.
