Project Delivery Management: How does it work?
Our approach begins with understanding your desired outcomes. From there, we tailor a project management engagement that aligns with your internal constraints, supplier timelines, and strategic goals.
Initiation & Planning: We co-develop a fit-for-purpose project plan and initiation document that outlines costs, milestones, resources, risks, and scope.
Execution & Oversight: Our PMs work directly with your internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring alignment and accountability across all parties.
Light Touch or Complex: We scale our involvement based on project complexity—from half a day per week for light touch projects to full-time oversight for high-risk, multi-departmental programmes.
Outcome Tracking: Using tools like AdaptiveWork, we provide transparent reporting and progress tracking focused on value delivery.
We represent your interests—not the supplier’s—ensuring the project is managed from your side of the business, not theirs.
Procurement: How does it work?
Why It Works
Our structured procurement process is designed to reduce risk, maximise value, and keep your internal teams focused on their day jobs. We:
Translate your needs into supplier language—so vendors understand what you want
Run fair, competitive tenders that uncover both price and non-price advantages
Provide scoring tools and decision support to help you choose confidently
Keep your team involved in key decisions, without overloading them
Ensure governance and commercial standards are met throughout
Running a professional tender or procurement process is particularly important when
You are unsure about what exactly is needed, or your needs have changed, and a clear “requirements” document is not available. This is important because the tender must be in supplier language and translating your requirements into supplier language is key to getting a good result. This means the suppliers are clearer about what you want and can spend their time working on a better solution for you
Your organisation hasn’t tendered for the product or service for some time. It may be tempting to recontract to your existing supplier, but the goal isn’t to change suppliers it is to get the best solution, or some fresh thinking from a supplier to help your organisation
You have had the same supplier in place for many years. This is an important consideration. You may think that suppliers will be clamouring to tender for your business. If they think they have no or little chance of winning then they won’t bid, or they will put in a poor response. You need better than that.

FAQs
What Clients Ask Us Most Often
What’s the difference between light touch and complex projects?
Light touch projects are straightforward, familiar, and require minimal change management. Complex projects involve multiple departments, high visibility, and significant coordination. We support both.
Should I use the supplier’s project manager?
No. Supplier PMs focus on their own delivery. You need someone who understands your internal constraints and can manage the full picture objectively.
Can technical staff manage the project?
It’s a false economy. Technical staff often lose sight of the broader project when issues arise. A dedicated PM keeps everything moving forward.
What tools do you use?
We use modern cloud based tools and can also work with your tools like Teams, Excel, Jira, or ServiceNow.
Why use a project manager at all?
It’s globally accepted that professional PMs increase project success rates, reduce costs, and accelerate benefits.
How long does a procurement process take?
Typically 6–8 weeks, including a 3-4-week vendor response period. Complex projects may take longer
How much time will our team need to commit?
We aim for minimal impact—around 4 hours per week on average, with more at the start and during evaluation
Can we use our internal procurement team?
Absolutely. We often work alongside internal teams, providing technical expertise and decision support
Is this a supplier replacement process?
Not necessarily. The goal is to find the best solution. If your current supplier is still the best fit, great. If not, we help you transition smoothly
What’s the difference between a price check and a tender?
A price check is quick and informal. A tender is structured and strategic. We never use fake tenders to price-check
What if we don’t have budget for external help?
We understand. Feel free to reach out for general guidance—we’re happy to help.
How can we help?
Let’s discuss your requirements. We’d love to hear from you.
